At Furology, I specialize in caring for dogs who find grooming stressful. Not every dog will leave with a perfect haircut but they will always leave safe, respected, and supported.

Who This Service is Best For

This appointment type is designed for dogs who:

  • growl, snap, or bite during grooming

  • cannot tolerate dryers or clippers well

  • panic with nail trims

  • have severe matting that increases sensitivity

  • have had negative grooming experiences

  • struggle with grooming at other salons

  • are labeled “difficult” or “reactive” elsewhere

  • Due to the size of our grooming space and the safety protocols required for aversive or reactive pets, I can currently accept dogs who are 25 pounds and under for this specialized service

Your dog is not “bad.” They just need a different approach and I genuinely enjoy helping dogs like this. For dogs with matting or skin irritation our specialized treatments may help reduce discomfort.

I will stop a service immediately if your dog is showing signs of excessive fear or distress. Your pet’s mental and physical safety outweighs any haircut or bath.
