grooming terms - overview

More detailed information, service authorizations, and required acknowledgements are sent and must be submitted prior to your first appointment. The information below is provided for reference only.

vaccines

Furology, L.L.C. requires proof of a current rabies vaccination for all pets in our care.

Acceptable forms of proof include:

  • An invoice from your veterinary office

  • A certificate of vaccination

We do not require additional vaccines; however, we strongly recommend that pets remain up to date on all veterinarian-recommended vaccinations, including (but not limited to) distemper, bordetella, and parvovirus.

cancellation policy

Grooming and bathing appointment cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled service to avoid forfeiture of your deposit.

If a deposit was placed for the appointment, the deposit will be forfeited in the event of a late cancellation and is not applied towards the next service.

late arrivals & no shows

We allow a 10-minute grace period for late arrivals.

If a client arrives 10 minutes late or more, we may be unable to provide all scheduled services — or, in some cases, any services at all. Appointments where the client does not arrive are subject to cancellation, and a no-show fee will be charged to the card on file.

late pickups

A 10-minute grace period is provided after the estimated pickup time.

After this grace period, a late pickup fee of $1 per minute will be added to the total service cost. Because we provide one-on-one, cage-free grooming, late pickups can interrupt the next pet’s service. This fee helps us ensure each client receives the calm, focused care they deserve.
